Paul Oseso is an accomplished hotel professional and an entrepreneur with decades of experience in the hospitality industry in Africa, Europe and the Americas. Paul has managed the Hilton International, Safari Park Hotel and Casino and The Norfolk Hotel, all in Nairobi, Kenya before relocating to the United States. Since relocating to the United States, Paul has managed the Pan Pacific Hotel in San Francisco and Starwood Hotels in the Silicon Valley. Paul’s entrepreneurial experience includes building and working with a team to plan and organize the El Espino Beach Hotel project in El Salvador from conception. Paul has also been a hotel owner having owned two select properties in the USA’s Silicon Valley.
Paul’s experience includes turning run down hotels into profitable ventures through his business acumen and focused persistence on establishment and execution of Standard Operating Procedures and provision of excellent customer service. It includes diligent purchasing and cost control measures and competitive sales.
Paul is an active Board Member of Tiba Foundation in San Francisco (www.tibafoundation.org), where he continues to lend his expertise in the knowledge of Kenya. The organization has built a state of the art hospital in Western Kenya through its local affiliate Matibabu Foundation Kenya of which he is also a board member. He has been the Director of Board Governance at the Stevenson House in Palo Alto and a long time Rotarian, both in Kenya and the United States and a member of the Palo Alto University Rotary Club, where he has been a long time Director of Club Service.
Paul heads up Why Africa Now’s very important Hospitality Sector which is attracting substantial investment and is positioned for monumental growth over the next decade.
